Zoo Freak

Poem By Jazzy Davies

Something stirs my memory
I pause, look deep into your eye...
No! ! Surely it cannot be! !
'This is so weird! ' I sigh.
I look at this nubile monkey,
and ponder the how and why,
of how Grandma Gee
ended up in this tree.

no time for talk
no time for sleep
The need inside me is an ache

When will you arrive?
waiting, not sure for what, or for whom

thinkin', whilin'
away time
before I get dialin'
