Sepp Mall (*1955, Graun, South Tyrol, Italy) lives and works in Merano, Italy. He has been writing poetry, prose, radio and theatre plays since 1971 and his work has been published in anthologies and journals.
He is a founding member of the South Tyrolean Authors’ Association (SAV) and is a member of the Graz Authors’ Assembly and IG Autoren (Vienna).
Sepp Mall’s poems initially appear as simple to understand and coherent in themselves, but there are dislocations between the words. Brackets and blurring diminish the voice, which makes it difficult to identify who is actually speaking. The reader suddenly hears sentences that no one has spoken.
