At Five Am
In the morning at five AM, I drive through the mountains on my journey home. I walk outside and breathe in the smell of fresh rain that has fallen the night before; so delicious that you just want to drink it in.
The stars in my pathway scattered across the sky. The big dipper acting as my personal light, guiding me safely on my way. As I cross the covered bridge, I hear the water rushing like a great wind forcing its way across the rocks.
