Venita Jackson Biography

I grew up in the 70's in Chicago. These were the good days when everyone seemed to get along with others well. The local cornerstore had what we called penny candy, because if you had a dollar you could get 100 pieces of candy and the kids could walk in the neiborhoods and not have to worry about anything but being happy, but long gone the days and now we have violence, drugs and unprotected sex. So I chose to indulge myself in Love and that is what inspired my 1st poem called Love.
